Review: Great little unit - I installed this unit on my bike as soon as it arrived. Super-easy installation for this kind of thing. I mean you have to know how to remove a seat, get to the battery and attach the connecting rings, then hide the wire from the battery up to the unit (not hard)... plenty of length but not too long. It works well: charging speed decent, well-made, and great value for money. I like the voltage indicator too. But, don't leave this on all the time, turn the switch off if you're not using the unit so there's no trickling drain when the bike sits. I attached mine with velcro (not included) and did not use the included zip ties. Usually I'd expect this to mount on the handlebar like the one for my other bike, but I actually like the way I was able to attach this to the body of the bike instead the handlebar (less crowded this way); visible but out of the way. Advice: Wrap the connector from battery to unit (at the point near the unit where the connection is) with electrician tape to make the connection waterproof. Also, when attaching accessories to the battery terminals, make sure the battery screws connect to the battery first for best contact... then attach the accessory connections. In other words, don't have accessories connectors right against the battery... put them over the bike's terminal connectors. [once you have this in front of you, you'll understand what I'm talking about)

**Q: Will work with compatible with a motorcycle dash cam**
A: Never worked at all right out of the package!

**Q: Does that mean the off and on switch means when it's off it won't draw power from my battery**
A: Correct, in the off position the display is not drawing power.

**Q: Why is everyone calling this a battery charger? This is a usb charger to plug debices into. What am i missing here?**
A: I think people are confused, as this is a charging port, directly connected to the battery terminals. It’s not a charger, but, instead, a proper set of leads to connect a charger to. The confusion is likely caused by the fact that, when the usb interface box is plugged in, you can charge devices at 5v/2amp. As far as charging your motorcycle battery goes, you would in plug the usb box and plug in to your trickle/12v battery charger. It’s the perfect setup if you want a hub to charge your vehicle battery through, and then have a device charger when on the go.

**Q: Is this usb charger compatible with adaptive fast charging/scp/fcp charging technology? i've bought two others that claimed they were, but were not.**
A: Technically, not sure...I never had an issue charging my S9 on the bike with it. I have sold my bike since I installed it but if I recall, it did say fast charging when I plugged in the phone. It really did work great.

I installed this unit on my bike as soon as it arrived. Super-easy installation for this kind of thing.
