The fuel adapter took about 5 minutes to install. I used a clamp on every connection because I'm overly cautious, so I had to buy five for my set up. I used the teflon tape on all the screw on connections. I added a quick disconnect so I could leave the male connector inside the generator and access it through the oil change door when needed. I used a screw on clamp to secure the connector (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00835H50C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). Then added about 3 feet of hose (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GM2X3TH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) with female quick disconnect (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DE8U6AY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and connected the other end to the regulator with clamps on all the connections. I now store the adaptor inside (with the two dust covers the regulator came with still in place) and keep it next to my transfer switch and cable. When the need arises I will simply remove those caps, screw the high pressure regulator into a tank and then use the quick connect. A push of the low pressure regulators primer a half pull of the cord and I'm golden.When running on propane I can't get the generator to produce a constant draw more than about 2800 watts. It may be because propane is less energy dense than gasoline or because the quick connect I used was only 1/4" inside diameter. The nut on the primer/regulator is only one thread in so I'm definitely getting it all the propane I can.Storing propane is so much easier than rotating gasoline so I'm very happy with the kit. I wish it came with a quick connect but American ingenuity (and $50 in parts and clamps) can make this an awesome kit. I searched for a long time to find the parts needed so I put the links in the review. I hope Amazon doesn't remove them because this post should make your life easier! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works great *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2020* I have no idea why I was asked to rate it's "stretch", I am sure not going to stretch a gas line.Use it on a Harbor Freight 3500w Predator inverter generator for my travel trailer. Using propane is much easier than gasoline and not having the odor of burning gas is nice.
