Sure. But you need to take the right approach. It might not work if you put the old sofa as a whole into it, because the entrance of the cover is too small for the height of the old bean bag. But you can take out some of the filling, once it is inside, then you can put it back in batches. Our beanbag cover has enough capacity to hold the filler of your old sofa.

Bought this giant bean bag cover with the noble intention of creating seating. Instead, it became a maximum-security containment unit for the 4,000 stuffed animals my daughter refuses to part with “because they have feelings.” Stuffed it full of bears, unicorns, and at least one suspiciously crusty penguin, and it swallowed them all without judgment. It’s now a fully functional bean bag and a monument to my inability to donate anything without emotional negotiations.
