Wings move when it repeats. The voice of the parrot is high pitch (like a chipmonk style). It does a decent job repeating most words and sentences. It repeated the happy birthday song I sung in full. 3AAA needed and have backups ready. Once it stops repeating most of your sentence, it prob needs more batteries. Just changed new batteries after 3 weeks, with average of 1hr daily use each day. This was great for my 7yr old who wanted a bird. My 4 year old has more fun making it repeat her words too. Shipped quickly. Bought at full price ~$14.99. Cannot change the speed or loudness of the birds voice. Only control is the on/off switch at the bottom.
