As a result, I have chosen to keep using it as a light hair gel. It does not, of course, provide as firm of a hold as high hold hair gels. But it isn't designed to, and frankly, it works just as well, if not better, than some light or even medium hold hair gels and pomades. And this stuff is good for your hair and is cheaper per use. It does not make my hair greasy, but my hair does not tend to get greasy anyway. It makes my hair feel great. It smells good and feels light. I’ve used it as a leave-in conditioner and detangler, and it makes my hair easier to brush through without feeling heavy or greasy. My hair feels softer and more manageable after using it, but it’s not one of those dramatic “life-changing hair transformation” products. It’s more like a solid helper that quietly makes your routine easier without causing problems. Also, bonus points for not making my hair feel like it’s been attacked by product buildup, which is honestly all I ask for sometimes.
