ABS plastic construction. Review: does the job - As agent for the property owner it appeared that the intercom was not working. Ordered this item here with a quick delivery. Hired electrician to install this new one and he discovered that the circuit breaker had been turned off (no doubt by the tenant moving out)!! The Ai phone which exists works after breaker turn on by electrician. So I would recommend this item because it has been working for the past several tenant occupancies. ## Features - Open Voice Answering Station: for the DB Series - All Call: between stations in the same residence or office - Communication: hands-free VOX or push-to-talk simplex - Door Release Button: powered by the door station - Option Button: external device control on a normally open dry contact at AC/DC 24V, 1.6A maximum - Volume Controls: call tone volume control with an LED mute indicator, plus receive volume control - Optional Call Extension Speaker: the IER-2, or external signaling to a third party bell or light using the RY-ES, in place of the IER-2 - Wiring: entrance station to tenant master is 2 conductor, low cap, PE insulation, solid, non-shielded, Aiphone #871802, and tenant master to tenant sub station is 4 conductor, Aiphone #871804 - Maximum Runs: power supply to tenant answering station is 180 ft at 22AWG or 510 ft at 18AWG, and tenant answering station to the farthest tenant sub station is 330 ft - Dimensions: 7-5/16 in H x 3-1/8 in W x 1-1/16 in D ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Customer Reviews | 5.0 out of 5 stars 3 Reviews | ## Images ![Aiphone DB-1MD Open Voice Answering Station, DB Series - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51T+50Y3TJL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ does the job *by P***T on April 5, 2023* As agent for the property owner it appeared that the intercom was not working.
