マグロウヒルの応用数学の演習書であり、多くの例題が含まれていて、価格がとても安い。 日本では、ライプニッツの積分則（定積分を微分したものの変換）を記載しているものが少ない。 しかし、本書では、例題を含めて収録されている。 このような、大切な定理は、日本の初級の数学書でも収録してもらえるとありがたいのだが。
