The OEM lower ball joints are glued in so it may be necessary to heat them up a bit before pressing them out.The new MOOG joints have raised grooves that bite into the lower control arm, eliminating the need for glue and retained with a clip. The grooves do mate the internal surface a bit but subsequent replacements shouldn’t affect fitment if one needed to replace a MOOG with another MOOG ball joint.Installation was straightforward, if replacing OEM, use some heat to break down the glue used at the factory, otherwise press the old joint out and press the new one in. You may need specialty press adapters to fit on the ears of the lower control arm.Add the included grease zerk and add grease, making sure each zerk faces the front of the vehicle for easier re-greasing when installed.The hardware included lets you install a new castle nut and cotter pin so no need to reuse the old.Overall it’s a great value compared to OEM and I am very happy with the result. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ball joint *by on Reviewed in the United States February 8, 2025* Boots stay in place , unlike the top ball joints .
