There are five clips which fit perfect around the head. Length is very long and it adds volume and length. This is for naturally straight or wavy hair. My hair is between straight and wavy so I just curl my hair before attaching the extension and you can't tell the difference between my real hair and the extensions even if you look closely. These last long if you maintain them well. Keep them covered and gently detangle with a wide toothed comb after every use. I also snip off strays and any knots with scissors once in a while.
