I have an Explorer Air 2 and used the deep cut blade and the highest pressure (350) and highest number of passes (9x) and it left a little bit to trim off via X-Acto knife. If I was doing larger/fewer letters, I would have completed my project nicely by trimming the last bits off myself. The wood itself was nice and seemed to work fine if i had the correct machine. TIP for fellow Cricut Maker Crafters: Since these are Balsa Wood - I selected Material = Balsa Wood 1/16". Even after adding several additional cuts (after initial 7 cuts), it would not cut all the way through. I then selected BASSWOOD 1/16" because this setting applies additional pressure and makes more initial cuts (14). This did the trick!
