The cord to the battery pack is about 3 feet long. The battery pack (2 AA) has a belt clip and 1 single button. Press once to turn on led, press again to blink slowly, press third time for faster blinking, press forth to turn off. After trying on the mask it seems pretty sturdy. Although, it did fit on my face (with strap extended) think it would be better suited for kids, tweens, teens. There are breathing holes for the mouth and nose so it wasn't hard to breathe.
