I don't know if its because the machine helped block the pain or if it was more of a distraction, but the midwifes were amazed how happy I was.... I managed to get to 6cm with no other pain relief, I was transferred to labour room at 6cm where they took it off after about 10 mins and replaced with gas and air and baby arrived less than an hour later. I hand on heart think it is worth every single penny and will recommend TENS to every pregnant lady I know, it made my birth experience stress free which I think helped speed everything up :) Good luck! We missed the return window because my baby was in hospital fighting an infection so I spent £50 and can't even get a refund.
