These are not exactly rugged shoes, I don't plan to actually hike in them since the soles are not really stiff and sturdy enough for any rock hopping, but they'll do for walks and every day activities. The uppers seen nicely finished. The laces will probably have to be replaced before too long. These definitely need better inserts. The ones they come with have no support at all. I ordered a US Men's size 10. I think they are about a size 12. The padded insoles are minimal. I added additional cushioned insoles so the larger size does not bother me, but they still feel like there's not enough cushion. Would not buy them again.
