Review: As close to what Trader Joe's had as you can get! - I loved the Sambal Matah that Trader Joe's had a while back, and I'm really sad they stopped making it. But this version is darn close, and totally scratching the itch! With garlic, lemongrass, shallots, and peppers it's bright, spicy, and just an amazing mix of stuff that goes great on eggs, rice, meat, noodles, whatever you can think of! I put it on pretty much everything. I did get 6 small jars, and in a week i'm almost done with the second jar!

I loved the Sambal Matah that Trader Joe's had a while back, and I'm really sad they stopped making it. But this version is darn close, and totally scratching the itch! With garlic, lemongrass, shallots, and peppers it's bright, spicy, and just an amazing mix of stuff that goes great on eggs, rice, meat, noodles, whatever you can think of! I put it on pretty much everything. I did get 6 small jars, and in a week i'm almost done with the second jar!
