Review: Works Great So Far - Good and gritty, this has a good anti skid abrasion. It was frosty on the steps that I took a spill on because of ice before, after I applied this grit tape, there was no slip at all with this on the steps. It seems to adhere very well to painted steps after the steps were scrubbed clean, very easy to apply, just pull the paper off of the back and stick, so far it stays down very well. Overall I am very satisfied with this tape.

**Q: must adhere to aluminum extension ladder, and must stay put, and also still traction, my shoes, while using water and soap?, do not lie., answer**
A: Let the truth be known. I am sure it would stick to the ladder rungs, as it has a very strong adhesion. I am sure it would provide plenty of traction while on the ladder, while you are using soap and water. The only question I have is if you will be able to bend it around the ladder rungs tight enough to give it surface enough for adhesion to attach to. Other than that, I am confident the rest of your concerns would not be a problem. If it were me, I would surely try it. I have bought 2 rolls of this, and I have been very impressed by it.

**Q: I have a ford expedition, the running boards get icy in winter, will this item help to keep me from slipping or is below zero temps too cold for it?**
A: It probably would. This summer we put a ramp up to our porch. We ran this tape down each board for traction, and so far with rain, snow and ice it never came up and kept t us from falling at slippery times.

**Q: eill Tape resist mold/mildew if used on runners under a teak shower mat?**
A: I don’t know. We used the tape outside for non-slip on our ramp.

Good and gritty, this has a good anti skid abrasion. It was frosty on the steps that I took a spill on because of ice before, after I applied this grit tape, there was no slip at all with this on the steps. It seems to adhere very well to painted steps after the steps were scrubbed clean, very easy to apply, just pull the paper off of the back and stick, so far it stays down very well. Overall I am very satisfied with this tape.

I bought this tape to add some grip to some porch steps - the plastic decking material is the first thing to get hit with weather and ices over easily. In fairness this has only been down a couple of months so the real durability can’t be assessed, but in that time there have been several wet days and below-freezing temps, and the tape is doing its job. It feels more reassuring underfoot than the deck plastic alone, so it’s an improvement. Other reviewers have indicated it is porous when wet and is no better than the unprotected surface, but that hasn’t been my experience. It has held down well - the adhesive was not as super-sticky as I had hoped when the backing material is removed, but it seems adequate, and hasn’t lifted anywhere yet. I was careful to clean the steps with 70% alcohol first, seemed like it would hold better without a layer of dirt on it. The tape is really easy to cut, just use a pair of scissors. For 60 feet of tape this seems like a good price - unless I keep having to replace the tape over time. I’ll see how it holds up to being buried in snow and update the review as required. It'll be used on some wooden (fir) steps next, it will be good to see if the results differ.
