I used it indoors and the fog was so dense, I literally couldn't see my children a few feet away from me. It’s easy to set up and is ready to go after a few minutes of heating up. The only issue I had when I first turned it on after following the instructions was it wouldn’t produce fog and was making a loud noise. I was starting to doubt the machine and the fog liquid I had bought and was getting ready to turn it off and return with a negative review but then I thought I would unscrew the liquid tank and it work instantly. I think I filled it up so much and then screwed the lid tight that it created a vacuum and it wouldn’t work. Once it was unscrewed it fired up right away kicking out dense fog and then I was able to screw the lid closed and it kept on running as it should. The fog output is huge. Not really ideal for indoors unless you want to walk around your house completely blinded by fog. I opened all the doors and windows in the house to clear on a windy day and it took a good 5 minutes to disperse. The fog had travelled upstairs into all the rooms and downstairs was just ridiculous. I was thinking of purchasing a more powerful machine than this but I’m glad I didn’t. This 500 watt machine is powerful enough to create a weather system. Highly recommend. It worked very well for 12 months and our son loved it. However the on off switch perished and the spring mechanism inside broke too meaning we could no longer turn the machine on or off. Although this was outside the 3 month returns window for desertcart, I decided to contact the seller as I believed that the unit should have lasted at least two years. The seller promptly responded, asked for photos and then preceded to send me a new unit to replace the old one. The unit we received ( according to my son) is a definite upgrade from their previous model which I assume is no longer in production. He is very happy with it. I used it for quite a while whilst testing and it didn’t even use half of the fluid.
