## Questions & Answers

**Q: can this be used on an iron with a titanium ceramic sole plate?**
A: I don’t know if it would be safe to do that. My iron has a metal sole plate.

**Q: Anyone know if this will clean a heat press pad?**
A: I am not sure.  But because this is a cream AND your pressing pad is almost non-porous, putting  a hot iron directly on the smeared pad, should work.  You could then use another cloth to rub the pad clean.  Hope this works.

**Q: Do you think this could be used on a curling iron that has styling product residue on it?**
A: It probably could as long as curling iron is hot like the iron has to be but make sure to wipe everything off. Do not leave any residue.

**Q: Can you put it in the water reservoir for the iron with the iron full of water?**
A: I don’t think so. It’s thick. You just put it on a towel and then rub the iron over it. You are supposed to have the iron empty of water and steam turned off.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved me from needing to replace my iron

I recently started sewing, which requires a lot of ironing to make projects look polished. I used a cheap crafting fabric for my first project and it transferred red dye all over my iron's soleplate. I thought this was just a cosmetic issue, but then iron then started transferring the red dye onto other fabrics I ironed. This iron cleaner removed all the dye in minutes of application! I'd been really worried I'd need to replace the iron (which I'd just bought), so this was a big relief. A couple of things to note: You will need to apply the cleaner while the iron is hot. Be very careful! Each tube is good for one application. Larger sizes are available if you think you'll need it more often. You'll need a cotton rag to rub at the soleplate. While it's non-toxic, I suggest using that rag only for iron cleaning once you've applied this product. It seems like something that you don't want to risk getting on anything else. An old presscloth is a good option here. Overall a great product, will definitely buy again if I mess up my soleplate again.
