IT is a little big and doesn't fold flat well but is the best of this type I have found. I grind steel and love these. As far as a bug out bag goes I am using the 3M 9211 Cool-Flow N95 Particulate Sanding Respirator. It comes in a ten pack and fold flat yet still has the valve. Those valves are a must for comfort! These are what I put in my packs or bags, and they are individually packaged. But the bigger and better one would be great for the truck bug out gear etc. I'd recommend you get it and the one I mention and see what I mean. And use them both as I do for the proper sized bug out bag. The fold up ones will fit in your pocket, but they don't seal as well, but you can place ten of them in your cars, bags, packs, office etc and at least have you have better than average protection from dust. **Q: Is this effective after multiple uses?
