This Sacred Tiger blend is fairly potent, I would give it a 7/10 for strength and smells great. It does have a slightly more floral scent than some blends but has that strong, distinctive, spicy Dragon's Blood scent. For the price, this is by far the best Dragon's Blood oil I have ever found and will be purchasing larger quantities in the future. It is unique unto itself. A little bit goes a long way. Whether you use it as a body scent or liquid incense or just drip some drops on an incandescent bulb, I think it is awesome. It is in a concentrated form, so you may need to mix it with a carrier oil before applying it to your skin. I've had some customers tell me it smells like a scent called Taboo. But I've never smelled Taboo, so I can't say. **Q: what kind of scent is this? What's it smell like?** A: Dragon's Blood is a mixture of several different scents mixed together. The manufacturer's won't give up the actual recipe. It is unique unto itself. But many of my customers have told me that it smells like Taboo, the perfume. **Q: Can this oil be applied directly to the skin?** A: Some people do, but it is a concentrated formula, it is recommended to mix it with another oil to reduce the concentration so as to not irritate the skin. If you use it in candle making or soap making, you can use it full strength. **Q: Second question: Is this the same Dragons Blood that can be used for skin care, as an antiseptic, etc>?** A: Dragon's Blood essential oil does not really exist. Any oils that claim to have a Dragon's Blood scent are synthetic fragrances. One can make Dragon's Blood oil by grinding the resin and steeping it in organic oils such as jojoba. This will color the oil red and straining off the particulates purifies the mixture.
