Review: Better quality than most - As expected a great tool and worked well. I had a little issue with the locking mechanism, but, worked it out. Entrance Holes are small and unit is metal and resistant to corrosion. Doesn’t catch small perch.

**Q: Are you able to cut the center hole a to 3-4 inches for bigger bait fish?**
A: Yes, but trap is small and larger fish could probably escape. I had to make hole smaller to stop crawfish from escaping.

**Q: How big is the opening?**
A: Minnow entry point is 1 inch in diameter.

**Q: how big it the mesh?**
A: too small for a turtle beak.  when i pull em out tomorrow i'll measure it with a tape & let you know.  i recommend em for just about anything

**Q: Has the rusting issue been fixed? If not could i spraypaint it before i use it to protect it?**
A: I have had this one for a few years and it has rust but still useable !

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy trap!

Works good we are on our second season using it. No paint falling off or anything broke. The clip for closing the trap, is a bit hard to put on. Young kids can not do it by them self, it takes some finger strength.
