Review: Perfect rack for my Brompton Electric - I installed the rack myself and have been riding with it for a while. The only thing I did differently from the instructions is that I didn't remove the back wheel, I just attached both bars to the outside of the bolt on the right side (next to the derailer, because getting the bolt out wasn't worth the amount of work). I have the bars on either side of the frame on the left side. Given the relatively light weight limit, I really don't think it'll be a problem. Hasn't so far. The rack does go in front of the taillight, so it blocks the light somewhat. I'm ok with this. If you do a lot of dusk or night riding, you might not be, or you might want a supplemental light. I'm not really a fan of the bungee cords, but until I find a good trunk bag they'll stay put. I'll probably remove them at some point. You can take it to a Brompton shop to install but the right wrench and a little patience - flipping the bike upside down, deflating the tire and disassembling the bolt assembly that holds the rear brake, the fender, the rear brake reflector (or light...
