Review: Portable Bluetooth speaker - Such an awesome portable speaker. Easy to use, charge lasts a while (6+ hrs), Bluetooth compatibility, the speaker is loud and clear, and so far it can take a tumble and continue working with no issues. I won’t have to worry about it getting splashed by my grandchildren since it is waterproof! I wanted something with better quality sound, especially bass sound, than previous bluetooth speakers I’ve purchased, but at an affordable price. I didn’t need anything flashy or with neon lights, and this W-King D8 fit that perfectly! I watched many of the review videos, and none of them, nor my own video I am including, does the bass boost sound any justice! I tried recording with my Iphone, Ipad and my GoPro13, and nothing could come close to resembling the clarity and crispness of the music I listen to, and especially the quality of it’s bass boost. As a mid-level range bluetooth speaker, I believe this one meets that standard quality for indoor/outdoor use. I love W-King D8’s design and appearance as smart looking and very durable. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this a good fit for a loud work environment? Also is the bass adjustable?**
A: I work in a pretty large sheet metal shop and it is pretty loud. In a 25 ft radius it is loud enough with grinders and such operating around me. The bass is not adjustable. This speaker is well worth the money

**Q: power adapter what style?  Wall, USB?**
A: It is USB type-C cord no wall outlet included in the box.
So you have to use your phone charger if you have type-C or preferably connect the USB type-C together with your 5V charger that's 2A and above.
I have a Motorola G7 power so I use the same power adapter for phone and speaker.

**Q: Is this a stereo or mono speaker?**
A: It is absolutely stereo! To the point that you will clearly hear left and right panning in mixes. Then you can get two and pair them, and it's advertised as true left and right stereo.
  Given that there is a 3.5mm input jack as well, I plan to get a long cord with a splitter that goes from stereo to mono, left and right so I can play guitar through my effects unit, and then run from the stereo auxiliary out into each speaker. I'm so excited to get the next one.

**Q: How does this compare to the soundcore Motion Plus for the money and good clarity**
A: I have the Soundcore Motion+  and the W-King D8. For sound quality in my opinion the Motion+ wins, but only slightly. If I were sitting in my living room with the speaker beside me, I'd probably choose the Motion+.  However, the D8 is a beast compared to the Motion+ while still having balanced sound that is not overwhelmed by its excellent bass. The longer I have my D8 (about 2 years) the more I love it, not just for its booming bass power, but for its pleasant sound. D8 is a very enjoyable speaker even when not blasting. If I could only have one of these, I'd pick the D8 without hesitation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for the price

We used this for a street festival at church. I was so nervous that it wouldn’t have enough battery for the whole event, we played that thing pretty loud for four or five hours and it never ran out of juice! It had a surprising amount of sound for a fox that size! We were really pleased with it. I will say our street fact always pretty big and when I walked about 100 feet away it would stop playing because the Bluetooth couldn’t reach. I don’t think it’s a limitation of the speaker, just of the Bluetooth technology. So if you’re doing something similar I suggest running it from a tablet, not a phone. Or something that you can just leave there. It was very easy to sync and use. It has standard size charging cables. We used it in very humid and windy conditions after a rain and the moisture did not cause any problems. I was a little overwhelmed with all of the options for Bluetooth speakers and I ended up going with this one because AI said it was the gold standard in inexpensive speakers.
