She lives far away from me so I ordered it here on Amazon and had it shipped to her house. I am happy to say that she absolutely loves it!! I got to see a video of her and she was swinging awsy on it and making up songs about how she loves it and how she has always wanted a swing like this. It kind of made me a little teary to see her so happy. Her mom and dad rigged it from an exposed beam in the ceiling in their family room downstairs. They decided to mount it more like a traditional swing instead of that sort of teardrop, single point mount and it works for her. They placed a large pad underneath it and they tried putting a pillow in there to pad the netting and make it more comfortable for her but she actually prefers to sit directly on the netting so she keeps taking out. My niece is 7 years old and has a very thin frame.So with all those great things said, now is the part where I say, I decided to order an arial yoga hammock and have her use that instead. At least I hope she will use that instead and here's why. As much as my niece LOVES this mesh swing, oh my goodness she loves it so much, I did notice that when I saw the video of her swinging on it, there was a moment when she went to get out of it and her foot got hung up in one of the holes.See my mom was face timing with her when it happened so her mom was not there at the moment, she had giving her the tablet to use and let her swing while she was chatting with grandma on facetime and swinging on her swing. Well the entire time she kept getting in and out of the swing but there was one instance where her barefoot got hung up in the swing and she was hopping around on one foot. It only took her a few moments to get her foot out of it and she didn't fall but I saw my mom ask her if she could get her foot out and she told her she would try. Well, she did get her foot out just fine and she happily got back in and started swinging like nothing at all happened.Don't get me wrong, it was not tight on her foot at all, it was like her foot got hung up in a cargo net and after a minute or maybe even less than that, she had her foot out and she was swinging away and singing again. That scared me to death so I immediately got back on Amazon looking for another swing for her. I saw the therapy swings, and I actually almost went with that instead of this but we decided on this, one because of the reviews, but two because I thought she might prefer the texture of it. She is quite fidgety and even when she is swinging back and forth on it, she does seem to like to grasp onto it and stick her arms through the holes. Her foot going through was unintentional though and I got a bit concerned for her safety after that and I want her to be safe using it in the room by herself which means no holes for her skinny limbs to go through.Ultimately I went with an arial yoga swing for her because they seem similar to the therapy swings but are nade from sturdy, solid, tricut fabric that can support weight up to 660lbs. Since those are made exactly for yoga and flips, I figured it would better withstand the paces of a growing 7 year old. Plus the reviews for the yoga swings were better than those for a therapy swing and with no holes in the fabric, I feel more comfortable about her safety when using it by herself.So do I recommend this net swing? Maybe. If your child will use it with a pillow. I think had my niece kept the pillow inside and just sat in it like a regular swing, I think maybe she would be fine. She does not like using a pillow though and of course wants to be able to clamber in and out of it, as she should be able to do. If the holes were smaller, I would feel better about it. I do recommend this though, but only if a pillow is used to block some of the holes in the netting. My niece would give this a jillion star rating, I have no doubt. I on the other hand, am going to give it 4 stars. One, because she loves it so much, and two because this really is a great swing. I just wish the weave of the netting was tighter. Lose enough so fingers will not get pinched, but tight enough that limbs can't get caught in the holes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does not come with the means to hang it *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2020* Cons: I’m a little frustrated with this product. I waited nearly 3 weeks for this to finally get here. I’m still waiting to use it because it apparently is only the swing with no way to hang it. I knew it didn’t come with the stand but I thought it came with a hook or something. So now I have to wait for more stuff to come so we can use it.
