It contains probably a high amount of salicylic acid, so no need to double it. Regarding extraction I use the toner after extraction as a disinfectant and it works well. **Q: How do we use this? I presume after cleansing?** A: You apply product onto a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck twice a day (dont rinse), i use after cleansing :) **Q: I use the clear and defend facial wash first then the facial scrub clear and defend and then the moisturiser, do I put this on after my facial scrub?** A: That seems like quite a harsh cleansing routine. Adding this as another step may make your skin dry and irritated. I use this after facial wash (in the evening only) to remove any remaining dirt/makeup. Then a light cleanse in the morning. Maybe try after your facial wash and then only use your scrub a few times a week. It’s very good at clearing pores, so you may find after incorporating into your routine you only need to use a scrub once a week. **Q: What percentage salicylic acid is this?** A: It doesn’t say on the product what percentage of salicylic acid it is. It might say in the neutrogena website though?
