The assembly instructions are not the best, however it’s easy to determine how it goes together with the exception of the β€œstabilizer”. I’m still not sure of how it’s supposed to work. For my situation, I hoped to be able to easily install/remove the carrier frequently, however on my vehicle (Palisade) I have to get down on my knees and awkwardly reach under the carrier to remove the hitch pin. Upon doing some research, I’ve ordered a folding hitch adapter that will extend the carrier somewhat further away from the vehicle to allow easier access to the hitch pin and also allow the carrier to fold up 90 degrees (when empty and ramp folded in) towards the back of the vehicle. This reduces the need to frequently remove the carrier.
