Price point is perfect for the quantity, great size, great thickness, and they are easy to carve. They carve so easily that it's actually quite relaxing! They do not crumble when carving. Carbon paper works decently on them, too, for transferring designs. They take ink well and I have consistent results with the finished prints. I've used some of my blocks multiple times and still receive consistent results. This is my go-to item when I need new blocks and they have pretty much helped make block printing my newest hobby! I've added pictures of two of my finished projects to show how well they work. I'd give more stars if I had the option. Heads up- they are MUCH heavier than they look!

**Q: How does this compare to Speedball’s pink carving blocks? Is this softer?**
A: hi there, ive been using the speedball pink speedy carve for years and i tried this block and honestly will never go back to speed ball, it is so much softer and smoother to carve,i used to have to put so much force into carving the pink rubber but this one is such a breeze!! highly reccomend!

**Q: Can you cut this in a Cricut machine?**
A: Have never used a cricut machine, but these are .31 inches thick, which is more than a quarter inch and fairly pliable, if that helps.

**Q: Does this material work with stamp pads? Pigment or dye-based inks?**
A: This product would work with stamp ink pads! I personally use it for screen printing ink and block printing ink, both from speedball, if that helps as well!

**Q: Can you carve on the rubber and the linolium side?**
A: This product is a solid piece of rubber. As long as you don’t carve too deeply, you can definitely carve on both sides.

My girlfriend said “I am in a printmaking class in college - i enjoyed it so much i wanted the stuff to do it at home. it works really well and prints good (i’m not a professional so idk what the standards are) i also didn’t get good ink yet so its splotchy but thats NOT the pads fault - its the ink and the pressure i applied”
