Installed the crank position sensor into my Nissan Pathfinder, and almost immediately made the failing OEM sensor symptoms 20X worse. The bucking and jerking of the engine was so severe that I stopped on the side of the Blue Ridge Parkway and used my floor jack to remove the wheel and reinstall the failing factory sensor I had just replaced that morning. I will never trust any timing sensors that are not OEM replacements, or from a reputable parts store with a warranty included. I am lucky to have escaped catastrophic engine damage due to bringing tools and a jack with me just in case of an episode like that. A few more dollars spent on a quality sensor are well worth the money saved if you have to replace an engine due to cheap Chinese parts like this wreaking havoc.
