It is very light weight, so I never took it outside. It was much bigger than I originally expected. It has held up very well to my cats! The only problem is that when the plants are watered and zipped up, condensation will build up - literally like a greenhouse. This can be a good thing, but it caused mold build up on my seedlings. I had to let it breathe daily to avoid losing my plants, and a couple times my cats took this to their advantage and destroyed some of my seedlings. Otherwise, it worked great.
