I make tea in it and set it on a warmer that holds the temprature. It is just big enough for two or three cups of tea. It is small but perfect for one person or two if not drinking multiple cups. It is very cute and It really gets noticed on my kitchen counter. It is cast iron so you need to dry it completely. It is heavy and keeps the tea perfect temprature when placed on the warmer (purchased separately). I love it so much I have thought about buying the larger size but really don't need it. I pour boiling water into it, if using on a stove be careful as handle gets hot.
