This fob cover has a special side cover that covers the switchblade key so that the key will not open unless you remove the cover. This was the main selling point for me. I wasn't too keen on the color but silver was better than the other colors (wish it were all black though). So for the positives: it covers the fob and makes it so that the key no longer pops out and stabs me in the leg. Now for the negatives:This thing is made out of a mylar type material - the type of material that the cheap halloween masks are made out of (the same ones that stabbed you in the eyes as a kid - or was that just me?) This thing is also super shiny so it's kind of embarrassing to have out, but since my car is keyless it rarely gets seen. Finally this thing really bulks up the key. I've included some pictures to show the difference between my covered key and my naked key to show the size difference - it also shows how reflective the finish is.It's not a horrible fob cover and does what I bought it for. More stars would be awarded if it weren't so shiny and if it were offered in black. ### ⭐ Not Red Matte, More of a Rusty Chrome *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2020* I don't even know if this thing fits my key, so can't comment on anything else than the initial aesthetics. I was in too much shock at the hideous color to even put it anywhere near my actual key. In the provided images, the key cover looks like it's actually a nice shade of red, with a matte finish (see attached pic). The actual key cover that I received looks like rusty chrome (see other attached pic next to another key cover I ordered, which is actually red).
