These are made in China because the original Korean company went out of business in 2013
The box clearly has "Made in China" written in Korean so there is no false advertising. Backstory is that the original company, Woolim Confectionary, closed down their factory in Korea and went out of business in 2013. The current version is sold by another South Korean company, Family International, that has a Chinese factory called Guangdong Baixing Food Co. Ltd (translated) produce these candy sticks in China. When you're visiting Korea and you want to try a stick candy that is similar to the original Apollo and is still made in Korea, look for "Apache" candy at the stationary stores. That one has flavors like coke, blueberry, strawberry, grape, and chocolate. You won't find them on the internet since they're too cheap to sell online.

Made in China not Korea
The media could not be loaded. The information says product of Korea. This is a lie it says right on the box origin China it’s written in Korean but if you use Google translate, it shows you the English writing and indicates that this is misrepresentation. I wish I could return it and get my money back, but it says since it’s a food product it’s not eligible for return so I’m stuck with it. I don’t want to eat food made in China. I want stuff made in Korea. I am a big fan of Korean products. I get angry when I’m tricked into purchasing something made in another country, but pretending to be made in Korea.

Taste of childhood
I was shocked to find this candy by accident on Amazon and had to order it. I used to buy these from a kiosk in Ukraine, never even noticed that they were an Asian snack. All in all very good memories, the candy tastes just like I remember it.
