A: No pencil sharpener included.  I purchased Prismacolor Premiere Pencil Sharpener ($5.99 Amazon) It's just a standard pencil sharpener and works great.

**Q: Can you purchase individual replacement pencils or do you have to purchase a new set?**
A: I bought the full set for my niece.  She is a very artistic teenager who loves Art class in school.  She loved the gift.  My guess is you can't purchase individual pencils but I don't know.

**Q: Are these lightfast?**
A: they have been so far, but I would keep anything I cared about out of direct sunlight.
