They snap and are very sharp all though not glass. They also make it look like your in one of those disfiguring mirror houses **Q: can I use scissors to cut for size** A: Not really, it puts small cracks in it. **Q: How thick are the sheets of acrylic** A: They are very thin. Description says 1 mm thick. Not sure what you’re using them for but they worked perfectly for my China hutch. I put them on top of a wood shelf that made my dishes look so dark. These little sheets literally look like mirrored glass. Loved them! **Q: Are the reflective?** A: Yes. But not good quality. It’s kind of like a fun house mirror. A little distorted.
