Review: Good for patching leather carseat tears. - Bought these patches for my leather car seat. They seem to work just fine and the match was pretty good. I cut a pattern for the area I needed to patch and then just peel and stick. I have purchased them a second time because they peeled up from sliding in and out of the seat. I think I may glue them down this time.

For my purposes, it works wonderfully as a reinforcement and adds to the looks and character. The adhesion is strong and solid. The piece is thicker than I expected but also smaller than I expected, but it turned out to be the perfect size for my Bible. If you want it to look like it is part of your product, it will not provide that because it is thick. But for a book binding reinforcement, I am SO glad I didn’t get book tape or Scotch/3M tape! It’s great to use when you don’t have the time or money for a complete recovering at the time; good for a quick fix. Seems like it will last a while.

**Q: Does this have latex in it?**
A: The leather repair patches doesn't contain latex.

**Q: Does this work on motorcycle seat?**
A: It might? It kinda depends on the environment that the motorcycle is being ridden in- cold, rainy, snowy, humid, scorching heat? Either way, if the bike itself is well shielded from extreme weather, it should absolutely work. Also might depend on the size of the tear in the fabric? 
Personally, I would recommend using duct tape to seal the tear and THEN using this patch to make it less ugly...functional and neat :)

**Q: Does this come in large patches? Like big enough to cover the top of an entire couch cushion?**
A: These do not stick well at all so if you actually use the couch, these will peel off real quick if they get used.  I wouldn't use this on my couch.

**Q: I need to repair my toneau cover. Is this waterproof?**
A: Yes. However, i have put water resistant glue to the leather for long lasting.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Thickness & Adhesion, BUT a little too Rough

The Leather was a PERFECT Match to my Sofa which is a big Plus. It is also very easy to use, just cut & paste. I understand Thickness could be a sticking point for some, but I think thickness is adequate for it to last , especially for a serious tear. I've seen a thinner patch before but adhesion is bad and won't last long. My major dislike is roughness. I wish the leather could be smoother, which will make it a PERFECT leather patch.
