My Quaker was not impressed, he screeched for 15 minutes. But when I convinced him it was Ok, he climbed up on it and settled right down. My older bird a cockatiel is very crippled and has difficulty on regular perches. This will help him . Very nice products for the investment, well constructed. 👌can be cleaned easily.

They’re very sturdy, bright & colorful. One person can assemble it very quickly, depending on the size of your cage. My canary loves it, jumps from one to the other. Waiting to see if it’ll file down his long nails..

Love the platforms. The gage is just right for ease of cleaning, and my birds like them. I’ve bought a couple of generations of these, replacing them when my birds chew the wood. But I’m forever giving away the perches to the local bird rescue, as I have no real use for them. I prefer wood perches.

Love this little pack. Exactly what I needed for my elderly (24 year old) cockatiel. Sometimes he likes to sleep on a flat surface so the little platforms work great. I also love the little rough coated perches so he doesn’t slip and fall since his grip isn’t the best anymore.

My 5 birds like to use these perches a lot. Helps keep nails and beaks down. I wish to find something to help keep them clean because they are hard to clean do to the material. Easy to install unless it’s the back of the enclosure you may need two people depending on size of enclosure. The perches are nice and sturdy.

The coating is done nicely on these pieces, perches are a good circumference for budgies, tiels and alike. The wood platforms are a decent size for small birds and my budgie likes everything so I will reorder when I need another set! Please do not change the quality, ie splintered edges on platforms or worn coating on perches etc. I’ve seen that with other sets...*******UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW********So I did reorder another set and of course I received a damaged piece in the set, picture attached with this update. The green platform has deep gouge in it. Now these pieces are packaged in a clear ziplock bag, you would think the warehouse pickers would SEE THE DAMAGE AND NOT SEND THE ITEM OUT!!! Price has gone up so why should I have to pay more to replace damaged item? Because it’s not giving me the option for replacing only return! SMH

I got a Budgie a few months ago and went foraging for natural branches to eliminate the problems that occur when birds always sit on smooth perches that are the same diameter. The branches worked fine but as you can see in the picture from a month ago She'd already started to have long nails. These abrasive perches have significantly reduced her nail length. She loves hanging out on them (frequently upside-down) and has a fun time chewing them which also trims her beak. Cheap, easy and effective.
