A: We have had these for a year now with no rust at all. And we live in south Florida so everything rusts.

A: They are made out of some kind of light metal. With a rubber ring around the bottom so it won’t slip on the floor.

The quality is excellent; the stainless steel has not shown any signs of rust after six months of daily use and washing. The rubber ring is easy to remove and replace for cleaning. This ring is effective at reducing noise. However, I have noticed that the bowl slides quite easily on the floor surface, which could be improved.
