I proclaim that while this thin, metallic sheen of reflective material won't replace an absolute knowing of cranking your head behind you in every situation, it will save you many head-crankings; and thus, will save your neck. It's slim form factor is aesthetically pleasing and fits right into the end of a drop-bar setup, it looks almost as if nature had birthed it right into my bicycle!
