Once you find the right touch for you, the pill pouches will last and perform well, and the contents pulverize with ease! I've found them to be often difficult to open to insert the Rx medication tabs. The pouches themselves also tend to 'stick' after initially crushing the medication in my 'Silent Night' hospital-grade pill crusher. This compression often creates an indentation in the pouch that ends up imprisoning some of the mashed medication which complicates emptying the pouch's contents. I had no trouble with the generic pouches provided by the hospital post-discharge.
