It delivers strong protection against particulates, dusts, fumes, mists, organic vapors, acid gases & other contaminants, and is compatible with all of our N-Series cartridge types for use in multiple applications. In addition to functioning as an air purifying respirator (APR), the 7700 model can easily transition to a powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) or a continuous flow supplied air respirator (CF-SAR). It is also compatible with a backpack adaptor for use in welding and painting applications (all attachments sold separately). The silicone face seal is contoured to best fit different facial areas, and the threaded cartridge connectors prevent accidental disconnection. After using the mask for the past 3 months, I remain very pleased with its comfort and ability to keep the 'bad' air out.
