The stirrer works well. It can stir oil with no problem. When doing heat, I set it at 40c and it wouldn't stop heating. it got up to 170c!!!! i was like, I set it to 40c, and when I checked, it was set to 40c but it kept heating.tried it again, same thing happened, set it to 20c and there it goes, up and up and up. I saw it get to 40 and i shut it off. I needed this to have low heat set and it won't hold the low heat, it even left a burnt stain on the plate, i retuned this item.
