That means being outside for more than hour at a time.This is my winter glove and I'm very happy with it.Does it keep my hands warm in all temps?Nope. No glove does.That said, 200 grams of Thinsulate does a damn good job. Pairing these gloves with a hand muff gives me the solution I need for my parts scanner, my pen and my hands.I can operate the scanner with the gloves most of the time. When I can't, I take them off. When my hands get cold I put them back on. When my hands get really cold, I put them in the muff with the scanner for a few minutes. Same goes for the pen when it freezes up.Problem solved.A word of caution, they run big. I'm normally an XL. I was an L for this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arborist working in the north *by S***I on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2019* I’m an arborist and we own a farm. I work outside regardless of the weather or temperatures. I got these in Nov 2018 and used them immediately during a 6 hour day in the single digit temps. They stayed dry and are holding up quite well even when I’m pulling throned bushes, rugged/rough wood etc. I’ve worked in a deep snow storm already and these gloves kept my hands dry. I have to add hot hands to the gauntlet part when it’s below 20 degrees but that’s because I have poor circulation (my hands are cold even in summer).My only problem with these is that the pull elastic to tighten gauntlet loosens really quickly while working. It’s been a pain if I don’t put my gloves on and then put coat on to keep gloves tucked into the cuff of coat. They do well above 20 degree's but below that it is questionable. Below 10 degree's forget it. I use them while I am snow blowing and that has only taken no more than 30 minutes this year. By the time I am about done the hands are cold to where I have to go in and warm up to finish what little shoveling I have left.
