Use a glass or metal bowl. Ensure it is very clean and dry with no oil residue. B. Basic Recipe: Combine 1/2 cup water and 1 cup mix C. By the 9 minute mark it was wonderful thick sturdy meringue. It baked beautifully and tastes delicious * 2 important notes #1 I used a kitchen aid. Probably much better results than if I used a hand mixer. #2 I didn't realize until the 2nd batch that I had used 3/4 cup instead of 1 cup (didn't even know I have a 3/4 cup scoop). It turned out perfect. I then made a 2nd batch the same with great results. I had just 1/2 cup left and beat it with 1/4 cup water. So if you measure correctly, you'll get 2 batches from the package. But you can get by using less. My only negative is the price. It works out as $5-7+ per pie. Which is quite a bit to add on.
