That's very mystifying because I can't find anything bad to say about it. I bought one two years ago and just now bought another one. Both have performed beyond anything I ever expected. The bass is powerful, yet clean and the highs are very clear, not shrill or distorted. Both ranges work very well together with no interference from each other. It also has a wide variety of input sources to meet anyone's preference. Maybe people just can't figure it out, so they return it. But it's very straightforward. Not hard to use at all. I will say the instructions are lacking considerably, however, there's plently of user info and complete, downloadable manuals on the internet. For the price, you can't get a better speaker and I'm not so sure you could get a better one if you spent more money. Review: Love This Device - I love this little device. I love music and this little speaker is just perfect for me to listen to in the craft room or outside doing yard work or anyplace. I eventually copied my songs to a micro Scan Disc which this device also accepts and that made things even better (with no thumb drive sticking out the back). The only suggestion I would mention to the manufacturer is that all the buttons are completely black rubber material with indentations indicating the choices; on/off, volume up/down and next song/previous song. It's hard to see unless you have the light just right on the buttons. Sometimes I have to pick the device up to see which button to push. Maybe other people or younger people would remember what the order of the buttons is, but I can' seem to, so I have to really look at it.
