I photographed the part and wires then did the replacement myself. Praise be, cause the AC kicked back on and cold air was flowing again. Its been three months now and my AC is still working as it should. And before you ask, yes I purchased a spare... just in case. Run capacitors now have an AFC rating, identifying the available fault current, which is the short circuit interrupting capability of the pressure sensitive interrupter in amperes. Most capacitors are rated at 10,000 amps, but 5000 amps is adequate for motor application. So it seems that it should work, the first part says the capacitance and then the voltages. As long as the voltages are equal to or higher you are ok. So in that case I would run it. **Q: why does this say 370/450? I need a 440** A: Its not a range. This capacitor is rated at 450V and as such, is suitable when replacing replacing a capacitor rated at up to 450V.
