Inspired by the Roman Goddess of animals, Luna Guitars' Fauna models pay homage to insects and animals both real and mythical... each with their own unique symbolism. An Abalone butterfly alights on a delicate Mother-of-Pearl flower at the sound hole of this charming instrument. The butterfly is a powerful symbol of potential, transformation, resurrection, celebration and lightness of being. It reminds us, with grace and eloquence, to embrace and have faith in inevitable changes in our lives. The butterfly unquestioningly embraces the changes of her environment and her body and emerges as a thing of beauty. The butterfly also combines fragility with strength. A tagged Monarch has been verified to have migrated 2880 miles! The body is a folk body size with a Quilted Maple top, Maple back and sides, 25 1/2" scale length with a comfortable Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard with Luna's "Phases of the Moon" inlays. The Fauna Dragonfly guitar also has triple Mother-of-Pearl/Abalone Dragonfly soundhole inlays, multi-ply body bindings and a BBand 3-band EQ preamp system with built-in tuner. The nut width on this guitar is 1 5/8". ## Features - Inlaid Butterfly Rosette - Top: Quilted Maple - Preamp/Tuner: Orion ## Images ![Luna Fauna Series Butterfly Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51wF24m7AvL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!! *by A***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2017* I have been playing guitar for 14 years. I have had my fair share of guitars a few great ones and a few that just did the job. This guitar is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever owned. It is a little smaller than a standard acoustic so it makes it more comfortable for me to play. It comes with strings already on, and it has a full sound with no tinny noises or rattling from hitting the frets. It is solid and did i already mention amazingly gorgeous. Looking at the picture is nothing compared to having it right in front of you. I am very satisfied with this purchase and it is one that i will enjoy for years to come. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Guitar. There's a small crack on the base *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2017* Beautiful Guitar. There's a small crack on the base. It vibrates a little. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely perfect! *by N***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2010* I couldn't be happier with this guitar.
