The construction is solid, it's very easy to use, and the sound quality is great. Even the packaging is stylish and solid. Nothing in this CD player is flimsy. The earphones that come with the unit are very solid and sound well. I also tried it with other headphones I have, and I was blown away. The sound is outstanding. The stereo separation is formidable.
