While engineered logs are supposed to require chinking, eventually the logs twist out of shape and the gaskets used two decades ago begin fail. We had our logs sand blasted for new finish and the amount of sand inside proved this! This chinking helped re-establish the tightness of our seal so well, we had to crack a window to light our wood stove! Exactly what was looking for…better insulation! Review: Cuts the cold drafts! - I live in an older apartment and had bad drafts where the floor trim and carpet meet (weird, I know), because my apartment has a basement underneath and has likely settled, leaving this gap and airflow between the two. I used it to fill gaps in my concrete so no ice would get in there. Used self leveling concrete sealant over this. Worked perfectly.
