Review: It works and never need to put your dog to sleep! - My dog is 8 and never had professional cleaning at the vet. When he was a puppy I tried to brush his teeth but he hated it so I stopped. Have been feeding him greenie daily and vets never mentioned issues with his teeth, until last month. At the recent visit, vet is concerned with his teeth and suggested professional cleaning. I declined because I never want to put my dog to sleep unless I absolutely have to - there’s a risk that they might not wake up and that risk increases as they get older! So I bought this toothbrush and used it daily for about a week so far. My dog didn’t like it that much but was too food motivated to not let me do it lol although I’d say he licked off 50% toothpaste within 2 seconds so the effectiveness might be decreased due to to that. Despite this, I see visible improvements on his teeth - the yellow stuff around the roots of his teeth shrunk in size and some area started to look lighter yellow/white. It absolutely works! It is pricy but in the end it is cheaper then cleaning at vet and you do not need to put your dog to sleep. If you have multiple dogs, then it’s a no brainer that this saves you money big time.
Review: Doesn’t help - My little dog’s teeth were professionally cleaned 12 months before I purchased this product (so no life time build up of tartar), I watched videos and made sure I understood how to use this toothbrush. I have been using it every day for about seven weeks (at least five minutes each session) and see no improvement. I’m not getting the result where you can begin to use the little stick and the plaque/tartar will start breaking away from their tooth. Since this product doesn’t make a noise and doesn’t vibrate and, so far, does nothing, I’m not sure if mine is defective or they don’t work in general. The light is on and that’s it. My one dog (12 years old), that I use this on daily, got used to it fairly easily — although she doesn’t enjoy it at all. My other little dog (14 years old) was too stressed and I wasn’t able to get him used to it. I felt like if we put the time and effort in, in a consistent way, we would see some good results. I am so disappointed. I’m also confused as to how it’s working so well for so many people on these reviews, but not at all for my dog. I will continue using it a while longer. If it ever helps I will update this review.

**Q: What is the return policy on this product?**
A: Amazon says you have one month.  The cost of toothpaste and brush head will be deducted.

**Q: My dog gets tummy issues from sorbitol so we usually just brush with coconut oil- will this product still work even if we can't use your toothpaste?**
A: Yes - ultrasound wave cleaning will still work - provided there is a coconut/saliva liquid present on the teeth and gum surface to serve as ultrasound transmission medium. However, the cleaning performance will not be same and the cleaning process may take much longer.

The best cleaning performance you will achieve by using the emmi-pet ultrasound toothpaste. Its formula is enriched with nano-bubbles and has the right properties / consistency for best ultrasound wave cleaning performance.

**Q: When i turn on the emmy-pet the green light goes on for a short time then turns itself off.  the blue charging light also keeps going off? why please?**
A: How long is a short time? 2 mins? If that is about as long as it stays on, that is normal. If it is less than that, there could be a few

**Q: I bought the set. the manual said, i have to charged first for 24 hours straight. i did. the light still red on it. what does it mean? not working?**
A: I found not only is it hard to read and understand, but it is so pale I never was sure what color it was.I don't use this expensive an difficult to use toothbrush anymore.  But if you take the brush off the base and snap on the brush then turn it on it should run.  Go with that answer.Otherwise write the manufacturer.As I said, I bought and tossed this expensive toothbrush.

So many issues with not just the product, but the seller as well. I'm not even sure the effectiveness of this product as it stopped working completely after 2 uses. After charging fully for 48 hours, it didn't even turn on anymore. No lights, nothing. Return process was difficult, Amazon told me I had to go through the seller, seller told me I had to go through Amazon. After weeks of hearing nothing despite the item being returned, I had to reach out to the company about the refund, which was then given the next day. Had I not reached out, I don't think I would have gotten that refund.

This tooth brush works really well, but you have to be patient and clean your dogs teeth daily. It takes time and several days of cleaning to remove all of the tatar. The dog doesn't mind as there is no sound or movement. I hold it on the tooth for about two minutes and clean two teeth a day. Once all of the tatar is removed, you can hold it on each tooth for about 10 seconds. This is a great product and beats spending $600.00 for a teeth cleaning which they have to put your dog asleep to do.
