It produces an expected 3500k light which is slightly warm and not cool white like 4100k and up. I prefer not having hospitals lights in my office, but some may have different tastes. Some of our light ballasts were non functional. On those lights we just directly wired directly. This is a NON-SHUNTED LED light. You must get Non-Shunted Lamp holders for this to work. It requires one side to not be connected at all.
