They are excellent quality, thick and soft but not so soft that they feel as if they are just gliding over the skin. Washed twice before use at 40 degrees. Absolutely no shrinkage at all and have washed the ones in use several times. No fading, still look brand new and softer but still dirt grabbing, due to the 700 gsm used to make these wash cloths. These wash cloths will last for years to come. I will be purchasing more for guests. I have been using for several weeks before leaving this review as I wanted to see how they performed over time. I cannot recommend enough, definitely the best quality washcloths I have used for decades.
